Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of the Japanese Mitsubishi F-2B fighter aircraft.

Derived from the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, the Mitsubishi F-2 stands as a versatile multirole fighter jointly produced by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Lockheed Martin, serving the Japan Air Self-Defense Force with manufacturing contributions divided at a ratio of 60/40 between Japan and the United States. Grounded in the design of the F-16 Agile Falcon, initially proposed by General Dynamics as a cost-effective alternative for the Advanced Tactical Fighter (ATF) competition, the F-2 commenced production in 1996, marking its operational debut in 2000.

F-2B is the two seat trainer aircraft variant.

Limited edition of the Hasegawa Mitsubishi F-2B kit with a new decal sheet with a marking belonging to the Prototype nº4. Kit consists of around 130 plastic parts.
