Hasegawa – 02462 – B-17F FLYING FORTRESS “MIAMI CLIPPER”

Description:

Limited edition of the Hasegawa B-17 kit, tooled in 1976. Include a new decal sheet for the MIAMI Clipper, U.S.A.A.F. 8AF 91BG 322BS “LG-P: MIAMI Clipper” Code: 42-29815 March 1943. Kit consists of 98 parts.

The Miami Clipper had at least two full crews, name and the bikini girl were paint by the first crew, they were sent back to home after a mission with 3 deaths of the crew. The later crew added the orange circle and the palm tree. Miami Clipper flew its last mission on 23 March, 1944.
