Hasegawa – 02473 – H8K2 Type 2 Flying Boat Model 12 “901st Flying Group”

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Japanese Kawanishi H8K maritime patrol flying boat. Over 160 units were produced in three main variants. H8K2 variant was produced from 1943 with around 112 units produced, being the main variant of the aircraft.

Limited edition kit variant of Hasegawa – 01575 (E45) – Kawanishi H8K2 TYPE 2 FLYING BOAT with a new decal sheet from 901st Flying Group, Mainland China in 1944. Include 3 markings in decal sheet.

Note that Hasegawa Kawanishi H8K was tooled in the late 60s, around 67, despite of being a great kit at the time and that Hasegawa is very careful with their molds, engineering of the kit and detail type is not comparable to contemporary models.
