Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Japanese WWII Kugisho P1Y1 GINGA (Yokosuka P1Y Ginga) ground attack aircraft.

The Yokosuka P1Y Ginga, meaning “Galaxy” in Japanese, emerged as a twin-engine, land-based bomber designed for the Japanese Imperial Navy during World War II. Serving as the follow-up to the Mitsubishi G4M, it earned the Allied reporting name “Frances.”

Released in 2023, is the first time Hasegawa include their Yokosuka P1Y Ginga kit in the regular catalogue rather than Limited Editions.

Kit consists of 79 parts and contains a decal sheet with two markings for the Japanese Imperial Navy dated 1944 and 1945.
