Heller – 80371 – SU-27 UB/P UKRAINE

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet Sukhoi Su-27 fighter aircraft introduced in the late 70s, as counterpart for the U.S. F-14 and F-15 aircrafts. Originally conceived as an air superiority fighter is considered a multi-role fighter aircraft in its more advanced variants.

Kit consists of 93 plastic parts and includes 6 markings in decal sheet, all for the Ukrainian Air Force, mostly based on the current conflict with Russia and one marking dated in 2018. Decal sheet includes part of the camouflage spots.

This kit is based in an Airfix tooled in 1990 and updated with some new parts by Heller later in the 90s and reissued in 2014 and this new edition with new decals in 2023.

This kit includes parts for both single seat (P) or two seat (UB) variants. Variant P, SU-27P, commonly just designated SU-27 was the standard air superiority version without air-to-ground weapons. UB variant is an operational trainer aircraft converted from standard units.
