Dornier Do 335 A-1 Pfeil

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII heavy fighter Dornier Do 335, developed very late in the war just few were operative before the end and only around 35-40 were build. The Do 335 was the fastest piston-engined German aircraft of World War II with its unusual twin engine configuration push-pull.

A-1 variant was the the single-seat fighter bomber, very similar to pre-production series (Hobby 2000 – H2K72059 – Dornier Do 335 A-0 Pfeil) but powered by uprated DB 603E-1 engines and and two underwing hardpoints for additional payload. Only around 11 were completed before factory was seized by the U.S. Some A-12 twin seat trainer variant was also build, all the other variants were just designs or proposals which did not complete a single aircraft.

Hobby 2000 repack of the Dragon kit plastic parts (ie: Dragon – 5010 – Do335B-6 Arrow) with new decal sheet printed by Cartograf with two new markings dated May and June 1945, this last one an U.S. marking, and includes paint mask.
