Italeri – 0102 – Junker Ju-52/3m

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII and 30s Junkers Ju 52 transport and airliner aircraft, better know by it’s transport role during the war. Almost 5000 examples were built since the early 30s and over 35 different countries operated the type both before and after the WWII.

Italeri tooled their Ju-52 kit in the late 70s, around 1977 (Under Italaerei brand at the time). Since then it has been reissued multiple times, also under Revell brand. The kit is considered a good kit for the topic.

Kit include parts for floats under-carriage, not to use with markings included. It also include several figures and a stretcher, as the original 1977 release did. These figures have aged worse than the kit itself and you may want to replace them if looking for such display of the model. Kit include some interior detail, with options for seats or flat bed with several stretcher (included in the kit). Note that seats here, differ from those offered in the airliner variants of the kit, such Italeri – 150 – Junkers Ju-52/3M ”Tante Ju”.
