Italeri – 1274 – A-26 B INVADER

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of an U.S. Douglas A-26 Invader ground attack aircraft introduced during WWII. A/B versions were the initial versions as seen during WWII or Korea, attack bomber, B variant produced in over 1300 units.

Decal sheet includes 4 markings (in the 2008 original release), all of them for 1945 WWII period. When reissued in the 2025 decal sheet was extended and 6 markings were included, including a 1952 Korean War marking. The origins of the set are 2005, when Italeri tooled a new B-26K Counter Invader, and later updated it in 2006 and 2008 to fit earlier variants of the Douglas A-26 Invader. Note also than in the 2008 release the kit was entitled A-26 A/B INVADER, while the 2025 reissue refers to it just as A-26 B INVADER.
