Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of an Italian Savoia Marchetti SM.79, a three engined medium bomber which formed the backbone of the Italian WWII bomber units and deployed to all theaters where the Italian fought. Mainly employed as transport or bomber aircraft the type was also used as torpedo bomber.

New edition of the Italeri kit tooled in 2003 and released in several versions since then. This new kit offers a new variant and decal sheet with 6 markings. Four of the markings are what you can expect from an S.79 Sparviero, Italian World War II markings, and one more for the Spanish Civil War, based in Balearic Islands in 1937. The last marking belongs for an aircraft flew by the U.S. Air Force in Sicily, 1944.
