Description:

The Fokker C.X was a Dutch biplane reconnaissance and light bomber aircraft developed in the 1930s. Designed by Fokker, it featured a mixed construction of metal, wood, and fabric, and was powered by a Rolls-Royce Kestrel V or Bristol Pegasus engine, depending on the variant. Though outdated by World War II, it remained in service due to its reliability and adaptability.

In Finnish service, the Fokker C.X played an important role during the Winter War (1939-1940) and Continuation War (1941-1944) against the Soviet Union. Finland received four C.Xs from the Netherlands and later built 35 more under license, designating them FK-80 to FK-115. Finnish pilots used them effectively in reconnaissance and light bombing roles, despite facing superior Soviet aircraft. Some were even equipped with ski landing gear for winter operations. By the end of the war, the Fokker C.X had proven its durability, remaining in use even after the war, with one surviving airframe now preserved at the Finnish Air Force Museum.

This kit is an update of the AZ Model Fokker C.X tooled in 2008, upgraded with 3D printed parts for engine, engine cowling as well as wheels and seat, for a Pegasus engined variant. Kit include also self adhesive paint mask and decal sheet with 3 Finnish markings.
