Tempest F.6

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Hawker Tempest British Fighter Aircraft of the Second World War which extended its service life to the early 50s with foreign users. Mk.VI or F.6 was the last production version still in production line at the end of WWII. Tempest holds the distinction of being the last piston-engined fighter in operational service with the RAF, as well as was the fastest aircraft of the war at low-altitude, able to intercept V-1 flying bombs and even face the jet Messerschmitt Me 262.

The F-6 variant included tropicalised features (intended for the Pacific war) so after the end of the war it was deployed in the middle east. Kit offers three markings dated 1947-1949 in Sudan, Iraq and Egypt.
