LF Models – PE7274 – Bird Dog Military service

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Cessna O-1 Bird Dog, a a liaison and observation aircraft introduced in 1950 and produced in over 3400 units, very appreciated by its short takeoff and landing (STOL) and low altitude/low airspeed capabilities. The type was operated in over 26 countries.

Second release of LF Models Cessna O-1 Bird Dog tooled and released in 2023. Kit is completed with PE (photo-etched) parts and 3D printed parts.

The new decal sheet include 6 marking options, Italian Army Aviation AVES, French Artillery Observation Air Groups, Austrian AF, Armed Forces of Malta, Royal Norwegian AF, Spanish Liaison Squadron. The French marking is suitable for Indochina, dated 1954.
