Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII Messerschmitt Me 410 Hornisse a heavy fighter and fast bomber developed from the Messerschmitt Me 210. Introduced in 1943 was produced in over 1000 units.

This original Matchbox kit was tooled in 1976 and had slightly different box arts, released again in 1979, 1982-83 and lastly in 1989-90 always kept the same decal sheet with two German marking, dated 1944.

As curiosity, the original artbox included the Nazi swastika in the plane tail, but it was omitted in the 1979 release which used same box art, and also avoided in the later 80s releases.
