Mikro-Mir – 72027 – Saab J35F Draken

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Swedish fighter-interceptor Saab 35 Draken, introduced in the early 60s after over a decade of develop, being one of the first fully supersonic aircrafts.

The fighter version, designated J 35F (Filip), was delivered from 1965 to 1972, with a total production of 230 units. Distinguishing features of this variant included enhanced electronics and avionics, incorporating integrated radar, aim, and missile systems. The primary armament of the aircraft comprised infrared (IR) and semi-active radar homing (SARH) versions of the Hughes Falcon missile, originally designed for the J 35D. Notably, one of the cannons was removed to accommodate additional avionics.

Tooled in 2023/2024, kit includes a large amount of PE detail parts, decal sheet contains one Swedish marking.
