Description:

Arado Ar 199 “Early Version”
Luftwaffe Floatplane

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII floatplane trainer aircraft Arado Ar 199. Around 31 units were build, intended to be catapult launched had a crew of 3, two seat side by side (instructor and pilot on training) and one in the rear (radio operator or navigator). The type was widely used as search and rescue plane.

We are unaware of differences between early or late production series, other than a different propeller blade between prototypes and final production series. Of 31 built aircraft, 5 were prototypes and 26 production series.

Kit includes decal sheet with 3 different markings, dated 1942 to 1943 for aircrafts in service at Russia, Norway or Finland.
