Nakajima Ki-201 “Karyu”

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Japanese WWII jet fighter aircraft Nakajima Ki-201 , a project inspired in the German Messerschmitt Me 262 with a highly similar external appearance. A single prototype was built and it can be only considered a paper project.

Decal sheet includes 3 “what if” markings:

• Nakajima Ki-201 Karyu – 244th Sentai, Hamatsu airbase, Japan, December 1945
• Nakajima Ki-201 Karyu – 244th Sentai, Chofu air base, Japan, October 1945
• Nakajima Ki-201 Karyu – captured and tested by TAIC-SWPA, spring 1946

*RS Models already tooled in resin a Ki-201 but as per 2022 this is the only kit in 1/72 scale and injected plastic model of the Ki-201.
