RS Models – 92288 – F-5B Lightning

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Lockheed P-38 Lightning fighter and fighter-bomber of the World War II in a photo-reconnaissance variant F-5B, derived from the  P-38J fighter variant. Around 200 units were constructed of this variant introduced in 1943.

Update of existing kit with new decal sheet, with 3 markings, all dated in 1944, including two U.S. markings, D-Day and Philippines and one French marking. The French marking belongs to the aircraft flew by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry writer (The Little Prince),

*Earlier molds from RS Models for the P-38 Lightning comes from 2012 but this is the first P-38J derived variant released which should include new parts to accommodate changes of the variant.
