RS Models – 92298 – Airspeed Envoy “Castor engine”

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British Airspeed AS.6 Envoy, a twin-engined light transport aircraft produced between 1934 and 1939 with around 54 units built. Despite the low number of units produced no less than 8 different engines where used in different variants of this aircraft.

The Walter Castor engine was used in the AS.6E Envoy III variant and is reported that just 5 aircrafts were built in this configuration.

Reissue of 2013 RS Models kit for the same subject (RS Models – 92098 – Airspeed Envoy Castor engine) updated with a new decal sheet.

Of the four markings included, three were already present in the 2013 release, and the 4th one, though for the same nationality, a Czechoslovak marking, has been updated for a new serial number.
