Zvezda – 7326 – AC-130J Ghostrider Gunship

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Lockheed AC-130,  a heavily armed, long-endurance, ground-attack variant of the C-130 Hercules transport plane.

Since Vietnam War, the U.S. has evolved and improved the endurance of the gunships aircraft, proving to be a vital part of the U.S. military operations as recently seen in Iraq or Afghanistan, providing close support to ground forces.

As per 2024, only the AC-130J Ghostrider remains service. The J-variant is lighter and more fuel efficient than previous versions without renounce to the fire/attack capabilities.

This kit is a variation of Zvezda – 7325 – American Heavy Transport Plane C-130J, with new parts (almost 400). Decal sheet include two markings.
