Westland Whirlwind Helicopter HAS.22

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British Westland Whirlwind helicopter HAS.22, a licensed build of the U.S. Sikorsky S-55/H-19 Chickasaw, introduced in the early 50s mainly for anti-submarine and search and rescue missions. The HAS.22 variant was an anti-submarine specific version.

Real vintage kit tooled in 1953 and updated with new part to its current shape around 1966. Kit consists of 55 parts and includes decal sheet with one marking as box art, Westland Whirlwind HAS.22 No.781 Naval Air Squadron, Royal Naval Air Station Lee-on-Solent, Hampshire, England. 1961.
