The Hiller OH-23 Raven was a light, multipurpose helicopter developed in the late 1940s by United Helicopters (later Hiller Aircraft). Based on the Model 360, it was designated UH-12 for civilian use and OH-23 for military applications. The Raven featured Hiller’s innovative “Rotor-Matic” cyclic control system, which utilized servo paddles to enhance maneuverability.

First flown in 1948, the OH-23 entered service with the U.S. Army in 1949 and saw extensive use during the Korean War for observation, utility, and medical evacuation missions. It was also employed in the early stages of the Vietnam War before being replaced by more advanced helicopters.

The OH-23 was produced in various models, including the OH-23A through OH-23G, with improvements in engine power, rotor design, and seating capacity. Notably, the OH-23G variant featured a more powerful Lycoming O-540 engine and could accommodate three occupants.

Over 2,000 units were built between 1948 and 1965, and the helicopter was exported to numerous countries, including Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and several Latin American nations. Its versatility and reliability made it a valuable asset for both military and civilian operators.

Include 3D printed parts. Markings are for different variants of the OH-23, such OH-23G, OH-23D or OH-23C.
