9th Century Viking Ship

This pretty nice Viking ship works together with the Viking Oarsmen set (for what this kit provides oars), which was the last 1/72 scale figure set released by Emhar, as well as with Emhar – 7205 – Viking Warriors or the range of available 1/72 Scale Vikings plastic soldiers including other makers.

The ship came with 32 oars and is based in the Gokstad burial ship, on display in the Viking Ship Museum in Denmark. Includes also 64 shields, 32 per side of the ship. Shields are moulded in pieces of 8 shields each (8 pieces), while oars are individual parts. All together kit is around 112 parts, well casted and not difficult to assemble. Kit also includes a vacuform sail and thread. Though the sail doesn’t looks bad, advanced modellers can replace it for a better finish or different configurations, as the sail provided is blow out.
