KAITEN Type 1

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Japanese WWII suicide crewed submarine Kaiten, type 1. The weapon was a modification of the Type 93 torpedo with room for one crew men.

This kit belongs to the trilogy that Fine Molds devoted to Japanese WWII midget submarines, together with Fine Molds – FS2 – HA-19 Type A Pearl Harbor and Fine Molds – FS3 – IJN A-TARGET Type A.

The box contains two equal models inside, each one turns into a 20.5cm long model and consists of 28 parts each. Includes also a small wagon for rail transport.
