ICM – S.020 – K-Verbände Midget Submarines

Description:

Model set with full models in 1/72 scale of two German midget submarines, first the recently tooled ICM – S.019 – U-Boat Type “Molch” WWII German Midget Submarine together with an older ICM – S.007 – U-boat Type XXVIIB Seehund (late) WWII German Midget Submarine (tooled in 2010). This box retains also decals from original kits, 4 markings for the Molch type and 2 markings for the Seehund.

K-Verbände were small naval attack units composed by a mixture of midget submarines (mix of one and two-man craft) and explosive speed boats (remote controlled). These units operated in the late war, 1944 and 1945, with little success in most of the cases.
