MERCURY™-ATLAS

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. Atlas rocket and Mercury spacecraft, part of the Mercury program, the first human manned space program of the U.S.. The Atlas subprogram used a derivative of the SM-65D Atlas intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), nuclear capable, the first operational U.S. ICBM.

The kit can be build in three different variants, the variants differ on the capsule, as offered in the Horizon Models – 2003 – MERCURY™ SPACECRAFT kit.
