Panzer IV was the backbone of the German tanks during World War II, produced during all the war with several upgrades during its life.

Ausf.G variant was the first one to receive the KwK 40 L/43 75mm gun as main armament. Initially named F2, (F variant receiving the new 75mm gun) had more upgrades during its production from March 1942 to June 1943, being the very late G model very different because the changes on commander cupola and even gun replace by KwK 40 L/48, the standard gun of the next version, Ausf. H.
