Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII Panther tank, Ausf. A variant.

Ex ESCI kit ESCI – 8363 – 8026 – Panther (Pz. Kpfw. V Panther) with new decals. The new decal sheet included an excellent selection of six markings (2004 Release version).

This is an old ESCI kit tooled in 1974, initially with the classic ugly single piece tracks ESCI used to issue on their models. The kit was updated later in the 90s under ESCI/Ertl with new link-and-length tracks, but sadly they are not a great improvement over the original vinyl single piece ones.

The model turns into a decent PANTHER Ausf. A, but its a 50 years old kit, and better options has been released since then to cover the same topic.

2024 Reissue

Reissued in 2024 with a new decal sheet, including 5 German markings.
