Sd.Kfz.250/1 (alt)

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII armoured half-track Sd.Kfz.250 , variant 1, (Sd.Kfz.250/1). Box states also for “alt” which should be “alte” which in German means “old” and refers to the initial production version, which had multi-faceted armoured body constructed from multiple plates, effective but very costly. After 4000 units built in 1943 production switched to a new simplified design called “neue“, with flattened crew compartment sides made of a single plate.

This kit was released two times, the initial version had PE tracks, and so was stated in the box, bottom over a green band the box states PE tracks are included.

The second release changed this PE tracks by vinyl tracks. Both are out of production.
