Armored Train of Type OB-3 “Railroader” (“Zheleznodorozhnik”)

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet WWII Armored train type OB-3, the “Railroader”, produced in Moscow during 1941 winter and entered service next year.

OB-3 type armored cars used an armored locomotive NKPS-42, 4 artillery wagons type OB-3, different tank turrets were used to build them but they all were mostly single turret wagons as this kit uses.

These trains did not have always anti-aircraft platforms (as this kit) but they also carried later 1 or 2 of type PVO-4. Around 65 trains of this type were built.

2 x UMMT (Ukraine Models Military Technics) – 609 – OB-3 Armored Railway Carrier with T-26-1 (1937-1939) Turret
1 x UMMT (Ukraine Models Military Technics) – 610 – Armored Train – Armored locomotive OV of type OB-3

The amount of PE (photo-etched) parts is very large. Railway segments enough are provided for display the model, but they lack of rail bed.
