SU-76i Wehrmacht

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet SU-76i tank destroyer, built over captured Panzer III and StuG III chassis, in the Stalingrad campaign. The chassis were fitted with an armoured closed case mate instead of turret and the powerful 76.2 mm S1 gun. Around 181 of these tank destroyers and 20 command vehicles were built, the main difference of the Command variant, was the Panzer III cupola in the roof as well as extra radios, reducing the number of munitions stored.

Re-Captured examples by the Germans were kept into service, but mainly as trainers.

Kit includes resin detail parts and tracks are split in 4 segments each, with the curved segments cast in resin.
