Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British infantry tank Matilda Mk.II.

Tooled in 1976, this original ESCI kit has some of the best features by the brand, with a well detailed hulls and suspension, but also includes single piece tracks of quite less quality than the rest of the kit.

The kit followed the usual path of the brand, being released also by Revell-ESCI, Hasegawa or Polistil during 70s, and eventually it arrived also to the ESCI-Ertl catalogue. In more recent times it has been re-released by Italeri as Italeri – 7035 – Matilda MK.II. Original kit included 4 British markings.

The British Matilda tank got little attention in recent times, this makes the ESCI kit still a valuable kit, or its Italeri re-release.
