First to Fight – 097 – AMR35 ZT1a French reconnaissance tank

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a French 30s and WWII light tank AMR 35, which despite what its name suggests, never was intended as a reconnaissance tank. When delivery to French army started around 1936 it was one of the fastest tanks of the time, but with severe mechanical problems overstressed by its speed. The designation ZT1a in this case means an early ZT1a, those initially fitted with a 7.5mm Reibel machine gun.

Newly tooled kit in 2022 and as per 2024 this kit remains as the only plastic injected kit in 1/72 scale of an AMR35, and only few of them were made in resin before.
