Centaur British Anti Air Tank

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British WWII Centaur tank chassis fitted with a Crusader MK.III AA turret, with twin 20mm Polsten AA guns (a cheaper Polish designed variant of the 20mm Oerlikon guns). This type of Centaur is known as Centaur, AA Mk I.

Around 95 Centaurs of this type were built, and some deployed during D-Day, but later withdrawn as unnecessary due the air superiority the Allied enjoyed at the time.

The kit is based in the newly 2022 tooled IBG – 72102 – Cromwell Mk.IV British Tank (Hull Type C) fitted with a turret from IBG – 72070 – Crusader Mk.III.
