IBG – 72116 – Chevrolet C60L Office Lorry

Description:

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Canadian Chevrolet C60L truck, Office Lorry variant, used by all the Commonwealth countries during the war and part of the Canadian Military Pattern trucks family (see related kits below).

Kit include decal sheet with one single marking and PE detail parts. Kit include parts to build either Cab. Nº11 or Cab. Nº13 types.

IBG has tooled before several Canadian Military Pattern trucks in different variants, mainly from series C15 and C30, but also a couple of C60S. While the work done for the cabs has been reusable through the series, chassis parts need to change from C15s to C30s, again from C30s to C60s, and also between the C60Ss and C60Ls kits, as although all the C60 series was listed in the 3-ton trucks (60cwt = 60 hundredweight ~ 3-ton) there was a difference in the wheelbase length (distance between the axles) between the 60s series.
