Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Ukrainian BTR-4 “Bucephalus”, an amphibious 8×8 wheeled infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) designed in Ukraine in service since 2014. 

Variant of kit IBG – 72117 – Ukrainian APC BTR-4E with new PE (photo-etched) parts for the “Slat armor” plus new plastic parts for the supports of the Slat armor. Slat armor, also known as bar armor, cage armor, and standoff armor, is a type of armor designed to protect against high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) attacks, as used by anti-tank guided missiles (ATGMs) and rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs) and usually takes the form of a rigid slatted metal grid fitted around sections of the vehicle. Thought protection against RPGs, conflict between Russian and Ukraine started in 2022 show it’s not very effective against modern ATGMs. Include decal sheet with three Ukrainian markings.
