M1A1 75mm US pack howitzer

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. M116 howitzer (designation after 1962, initially known as M1A1), a 75mm gun which was widely used during WWII, also by British army, and fitted to a number of different carriages and vehicles for different purposes. The model depicts the gun with a M8 carriage, which could be split down into seven mule loads or nine parachute loads, commonly issued to airborne and mountain units. The gun is a very successful design which remains operative after its introduction in 1927.

Kit consists of just 24 parts including several shells. The level of detail of the kit is superior to the Waterloo 1815 models, Waterloo 1815 – 036 – British Paratroopers with Pack Howitzer and Waterloo 1815 – 038 – American Mountain Gun from 75mm WWII, but in exchange those includes a very good crew which is a big plus.
