Again, the nomenclature used by the brand, BM is incorrect here. It could refers to a T-72B obr.1989g but fitted with Kontact-1 instead of Kontact-5 ERA. It’s unclear and we lack of enough information for a better insight. Syrian army also performed upgrades at their own, over the original T-72s received (T-72S) adding new Fire Control and ERA (Kontact-1), it could refer to these too.
