Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a German WWII project Landkreuzer P. 1000 Ratte, a super heavy tank design proposed in 1942 weighting up to 1000 tons. The project never went out of a paper design and many historians even doubt that the P.1000 even got as far as a proper outline design.

Update on the super-heavy “Land Battleship or Land Cruiser” P.1000 series kit by ModelCollect, featuring a new turret hosting 2 x 28cm main guns (naval guns as Scharnhorst class battleships) and new secondary turrets featuring E-75 tank turrets (fitted with 15cm guns) and Kugelblitz turrets (twin 30mm guns).

The kit is a monster kit, hull and turret are cast in two pieces each for easier assembly but suspension and tracks are engineered to be movable, featuring 1048 single links track pieces and 72 suspension springs. Build up the the wheels, suspension and tracks system is the main work on the kit, while everything else like turrets and hull details are quite and simple to build.

The kit is aimed for fans of the “Heer 1946” and general WWII what-if projects.
