T-80UD Main Battle Tank

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Ukrainian T-80UD, a parallel develop of the T-80U main battle tank. The UD has a diesel engine and can be distinguished from T-80U by a different engine deck and distinctive smoke-mortar array and turret stowage boxes. Production started before the Soviet Union disintegration but most of the UD produced were retained in Ukraine, although the type can be also seen in Russian service.

The above box layout belongs to the second release by Model Collect, including PE parts and metal barrel. The initial release, image box shown below, didn’t included the metal barrel. Both shares same code number.
