Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a French WW2 Panhard AMD 178 4×4 armoured car.

By model 1940 (wz. 1940) the brand refers to an upgraded Renault made prototype armed with a much more powerful 47 mm SA 35 tank gun in a larger turret. The turret was completed in record time using an original turretless chassis but only 1 char was built. Given the desperate situation the model was sent to the front in June and performed well despite the crew had to destroy it to avoid being captured as was impossible cross back the Loire river with it.

Kit contains same chassis and wheel sprue than the other Panhards released by the brand, with 45 parts, and a different turret sprue with 17 parts.

Detail of the parts is good, but moulding quality is not so good, and some of the smallest parts are really hard to get out of the sprue without damage.
