Soviet 2K11A TEL w/9M8M Missile “Krug-a” (SA-4 Ganef)

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet anti air missile 2K11 Krug, in service since 1965 and still operated in some countries such North Korea or Syria. The TEL (Transporter Erector Launcher) is built over a GM-123 chassis and carries two missiles, these varies depend on the version, but for the model kit, version A, The 9M8M missiles are carried, and upgrade introduced in 1967 after the original 9M8. SA-4 Ganef is just the NATO reporting name. The missiles are aid for launch by four solid fuel rocket motors and a range of about 50-55Km, able to engage targets between 100m – 27Km altitude.

Trumpeter kit consists of about 80 plastic parts and includes decal sheet with markings for East Germany and Czechoslovakia.
