Zvezda – 5077 – T-62 Main Battle Tank

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet T-62 tank, a design derived from the previous T-55 tank, introduced in early 60s and produced till mid 70s and later in some countries like North Korea.

The T-62 introduced for first time in a Soviet design a smoothbore gun rather than rifled. Over 22000 units were produced in total, in several variants, upgrades and specialized derived vehicles.

Though not specified, kit depicts an early T-62 tank, noticeable the lack of anti-aircraft machine guns on cupola. Kit include link-and-length type tracks, a not common feature on Zvezda which usually uses single piece rubber tracks. Decal sheet include generic Soviet numerals and stars. Kit consists of around 172 plastic parts.
