Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Soviet WWII T-70 light tank, one of the last light tanks of the Soviet army.

The T-70 was developed as replacement for the T-60 and T-50 tanks, but being a light tank had some of the same shortcomings, as just a crew of two, and a commander unable to manage a platoon being also commander of his tank and loader and firing the gun. T-70 was fitted with a 45mm L/46 gun Model 38 and bit over 8000 units were produced in plants that were not ready yet to produce heavier T-34 tanks. Production was halted in 1943, when red army totally abandoned the light tank concept, in favor of the T-34s or T-34-85s and other heavier designs.

Kit consists of 122 plastic parts, include link-and-length tracks. Decal sheet allows 4 different markings.
