P-51D Mustang

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. North American P-51 Mustang, a single seat long range fighter and fighter bomber developed during WWII. Produced in over 15.000 units was one of the most important and best fighters aircrafts of the conflict.

Original Matchbox kit tooled in 1973 and released till 1992 which always had the same content, decals included and box art was always a variation of the original 1973 draw.

Decal sheet included one British RAF marking and one USAAF.

1973 to 1975 box art layout with subtle variations. This exact image belongs to 1975 release.
