U.S. ARMY M1A2 SEP TUSK II MBT

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a U.S. M1A2 Abrams main battle tank, upgraded by the SEP (System Enhancement Program) and TUSK (Tank Urban Survival Kit) programs.

Cast and detail of this kit is superb, but the brand simplified suspension and tracks in a difficult to understand way considered the amount of detail the kit has elsewhere. The tracks are moulded in segments, some of them moulded with wheels together, and while the short segments, curved, has a proper detail (though full of pin ejection marks in the inner side) the main segments totally lack of inner detail. The simplification build process for the running gear just worsened a kit that was very promising at first sight.

Same kit was later released by T-Model.
