Description:
Moroccan Goumiers
Unpainted plastic soldiers in 1/72 of Moroccan French WWII Goumiers, Goumiers served as auxiliars of French Army during all the occupation between 1908 and 1956 but were of special importance after 1942 and the re-creation of the French army (and Free France Army) which used them extensively from Tunisia campaign (1942) till Germany 1945.
Box contains 52 figures in 13 different poses, a 4x equal sprues format. Each sprue includes a Machine gun, looks like a Vickers MK I, same used on the recent Strelets – M149 – Arabs in Ambush an equally doubtful here. It could be a Browning M1917 supplied by the U.S. but then the model looks like not very accurate.
