English Electric Lightning F.2A

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a British English Electric Lightning jet interceptor-fighter aircraft which lasted in service for almost three decades, 60s, 70s and 80s. F.2A variant was introduced in the late 60s, adding arrestor hook and enlarged Ventral Tank, with around 30 F.2s converted to this standard.

Update with new decals of kit tooled in 2013, A04054, English Electric Lightning F.2A. This new edition includes two markings, English Electric Lightning F.2A No. 19 Squadron, Royal Air Force Germany, Gutersloh, 1970 and English Electric Lightning F.2A No.92 Squadron, Royal Air Force Germany, Gutersloh, late 1973, same order than pictures below.

Kit consists of 92 plastic parts.
