Mirage IIICJ

Unassembled plastic model kit in 1/72 scale of a Mirage III, CJ variant, and all weather interceptor/fighter of the Mirage Family, which was the export (to Israel) variant of the French IIIC version. It’s main armament was two 30mm cannons, one air-to-air missile under fuselage and two AIM-9 Sidewinder (short range air-to-air) in wings.

Israel received 72 aircrafts of this type between 1961 and 1964. And in 1982 Argentina acquired 19 of them. Kit provides 3 markings for Israeli service, and two for Argentinian one. Sadly any of the Israeli markings belongs to the Six Days War, but one of them seems to belong to the Yom Kippur War, 1973. Not confirmed but one of the Argentinian markings could belong to the Falklands (Malvinas) war.

Kit includes two canopies, for open or close option, PE (photo etched) detail parts. Kit consists of over 149 parts. Includes canopy paint mask and weapons payload including AIM-9D+Shafrir 2 missile, Matra R530 missile and 1300L external fuel tank.
