This box contains 48 figures in 12 poses, all of them are pike men, the Swiss infantry was the prelude of the European warfare during XVI century and part of XVII century, and the famous Swiss mercenaries dominated European battlefields for a well part of the XV Century.

The most noticeable here is the way to attach the long pikes, which come in 2 parts plus the part moulded with the figure. Although it’s a solution (also used in at least one Zvezda set) it not produces a very realistic looking, so pikes are candidates to be replaced in this set.

You also have option to make two halberdier and one standard bearer per sprue.
