Sherwood Castle / Robin Hood Playset

Airfix released this kit first time in 1968, as a playset including both the Robin Hood and Nottingham figures, both available since 1964. The next year the castle was released stand alone for first time, and since then both the playset and the fort were released several years. The last appearances were in the 90s in the form of playset.

The castle itself has not much to do as scale model, but a toy. It doesn’t change the fact it’s and was and excellent “toy” and history of the hobby, a collectors piece.
